Government Contracts Attorney - Federal Agency

Washington, DC | Temporary

Post Date: 05/08/2017 Job ID: DC230 Industry: Government

TEMPORARY/FULL-TIME:   You can make a difference!   A small federal government agency's general counsel's office in Washington, DC is looking for an experienced government contracts attorney.   Your work will matter!   The federal agency prefers an attorney who has worked directly for a federal government agency and who can work independently on a wide range of government contract areas.     These areas include FARS, procurement, GSA schedules and bid protests.  The agency is looking for someone who can work about 40 hours per week.   It anticipates the work lasting about six months, maybe longer.

This is perfect for a retired federal government attorney who wants to supplement his or her income.   It is also perfect for an attorney with some federal agency government contracts experience who wants to gain more experience in that area.    The federal agency will also consider someone who has significant government contracts experience with a law firm.
