Jr attorney to assist busy solo Fed'l Criminal Defense practitioner TEMP/PT

Philadelphia (Center City), PA | Temporary | Remote Friendly

Post Date: 11/17/2017 Job ID: PH3617 Industry: Law Firm Pay Rate: Modest

TEMPORARY/PT: (PH3617) Solo practitioner in CC Philly has IMMEDIATE NEED for a junior attorney (recently admitted to PA bar; 1-2 years in practice) to assist in a very busy Fed'l Criminal practice of some 30 years.

15+ hours a week anticipated. Would have to have ability to meet at firm from time-to-time but THE BULK OF THE WORK could be accomplished REMOTELY via email and phone.

Our client handles major felony cases in federal courts in Philadelphia, Wilmington, Camden and other cities. The majority of the practice is in white collar crimes – mail and wire frauds, health care fraud, tax fraud, securities fraud, trademark secret fraud, etc., although also handles SOME drug cases. Extremely busy trial practice and so needs someone to do legal research and writing of motions and memorandum, helping with trial preparation, writing blogs for firm website, etc.

Very flexible as to time. Can use lots of help, but will take whatever time commitment a candidate can offer. Ideal PT work for at-home Mom or Dad, or anyone working PT from their home office, etc.

Modest rate requested. Please respond to this IMMEDIATE NEED, with an anticipated open-ended duration, by sending in your cover letter and resume, HOURLY RATE and availability to: eouttrim@assignedcounsel.com

Thanks!

Ability to work remotely, 15+ hours a week.

Active PA law license, in good-standing with no disciplinary history in ANY jurisdiction.
