Attorney with Broad Contracting Experience, Insurance Regulatory a BIG PLUS


Temp to Perm/FT; Permanent/FT: Insurance Regulatory contract and other transactional work. Immediate need. Local corporation, a leader in its field, located in the Philadelphia area, has an immediate need for a PA licensed attorney who possesses a BROAD range of contracting experience. M & A and divestiture work, Financial Document Review (such as loan agreements, etc.), SaaS, Real Estate. Additionally, the person should have STRONG "general" contract skills, and, have a familiarity with insurance concepts.

 

The IDEAL candidate WILL POSSESS A RECENT INSURANCE REGULATORY BACKGROUND, meaning the financial/regulatory piece, NOT ACA or Medicare, etc. For example, the client would love you to have experience with the documents it needs to file with various Insurance Departments, such as filing Form Bs and Form Ds, Intercompany Agreements, tax-related documents, etc. Further, such a regulatory attorney should have knowledge of and experience with topics like ORSA, and, with negotiating/drafting/reviewing the more complex contractual agreements between an insurer and a reinsurer, etc.


Must be licensed and active, in good-standing, in at least one state jurisdiction. Three professional references are required and are checked.
