IN-HOUSE LEGAL ASSISTANT/ FULL-TIME;TEMP-TO-PERM: Great Bergen County corporation seeks experienced Legal Assistant to support the Deputy General Counsel. This is an outstanding temporary project with a strong likelihood of becoming a permanent position in a few months. Work entails litigation support along with administrative duties. Litigation support will include intake and tracking of litigation matters, coordination of discovery requests, handling subpoenas, communicating with insurers re: cases, interacting with other corporate departments re: legal matters, and generating monthly reports.

Administrative duties will include calendar management, booking conference rooms, making travel plans, managing expense reports, and handling mail.

Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of litigation and administrative experience required. Must be proficient with MS Office products. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as is the ability to work well both independently and in team settings.
