TEMPORARY ATTORNEY - UTILITIES/ENERGY (CORRECTED 4/19)
PA | Temporary
Temporary/Full-Time (PH040518): Our client, an energy-related concern, has an immediate need for a CURRENTLY experienced energy/utilities attorney for a 10-week (maximum) or approximately 2-month assignment on-site at its SE Pennsylvania area location. The selected attorney would begin after Memorial Day weekend.
To be considered for this opportunity you MUST:1/ be actively licensed in PA, in good-standing with NO disciplinary history in ANY jurisdiction, and;2/ have recent experience with utilities regulated industries and the statutes/laws that govern them such as PA Title 66 and related PA Code Sec. 52.
You will be working on, among other things: Projects - risks involved and the analysis of what to do; Drafting petitions and letters to the Public Utility Commission (PUC); Reading and interpreting PUC Orders and Rulings and advising based on them.
You would be expected to quickly "learn" the position - e.g., the pros, cons, and risks involved with action or inaction in relation to PA government views.
While having In-House Legal Department experience in the energy industry would be the IDEAL background for this assignment, our client is open to also considering an attorney who has recently serviced similar clients from a law firm position.
If you are immediately available to interview and truly fit the description of this opening, with CURRENT experience in the energy industry, please send your resume and cover letter, including your target hourly rate, to:
