TEMP, P/T - Technology Licensing Attorney

TEMP, P/T - Good opportunity for attorney with right experience to supplement practice.
Semiconductor company is looking for an attorney to assist with software licensing matters on a part-time, flexible basis. Work is anticipated to involve up to 15 hours/week on an ongoing basis, but will fluctuate depending on project volume. Remote work OK.
Candidates should have the following:
- solid software license experience
- familiarity with open source software use and compliance, acquiring software (and negotiating with software vendors), licensing-out software (i.e., drafting clickwrap license terms and licenses to be signed)
- assigning software licenses from one company to another after review and negotiation of risky/undesirable terms
- experience reviewing and negotiating other technology-related agreements is a big plus such as CAD/EDA vendor agreements and contract manufacturer agreements.
Preferred candidates will have at least 2 to 3 years of law firm experience in technology transactions, preferably in this practice area.
Candidates must be comfortable with project-based nature of work, including weeks with no hours. Potential for more hours after 2-3 months, depending on performance, fit and company's ongoing volume.
