TEMPORARY MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS ATTORNEY
A highly experienced corporate transactions attorney with at least 5 years of sophisticated experience is needed to work on a shareholder buyout transaction. The workload will fluctuate between 20 and 40 hours per week for a period beginning the 4th week of January, 2025, and ending approximately 6 weeks later. This is a hybrid work position with on-site in New York City.
KEY JOB COMPONENTS AND PREFERRED REQUISITES
1. Primary drafting responsibility for the deal documents and managing the closing of the transaction.
2. Need to manage fluctuations in weekly workload.
3. Willingness to consider the potential of a longer-term role.
QUALIFICATIONS
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Must have an active law license and be in good-standing. Must also have NO disciplinary history in ANY jurisdiction.
- 5+ years RELEVANT experience.
