This is a temporary position beginning soon.   A New Jersey company, with interests in retail sales and seasonal storefronts, seeks a commercial leasing attorney well-versed in commercial lease language for strip malls, malls, etc. where seasonal storefronts populate.

The position is fully remote, with variable hours per week up to 40 hours during peak periods. Core work involves real estate leases. Engagement could become a recurring annual event.

 
KEY JOB COMPONENTS

• AT LEAST 7 years’ experience with drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial leases for shopping centers, strip malls and storefronts.
• Seasoned real estate attorneys with the above experience are needed.
• After initial ramp-up, work may go 4-6 months with intense deadline driven periods.
• Commitment for the term of the project is expected.
  

QUALIFICATIONS
-JD degree, active law license and be in good-standing.  Must also have NO disciplinary history in ANY jurisdiction.

-Strong academic background, superior oral and written communication skills.

-At least 7 years of practice in a quality legal environment, with significant experience in practice related to the duties and responsibilities of the position as described above.

-Ability to process a large volume of lease work during a compressed time period.
